HIGHTEC MOB SYSTEM NOW AVAILABLE

Seasafe ConsoleSeasafe has been developed over a period of ten years in response to a growing international demand for a PERSONAL self-contained and stand-alone alarm, tracking and location system. Seasafe has been designed to supplement and compliment existing tracking and location technologies. Seasafe has addressed very specific issues such as; Tracking accuracy, Time taken to respond, Signal Transmission ranges and most importantly, Transmitter battery life once activated.

The ultimate benefit of the Seasafe system is the ability to react immediately to critical or non-critical emergencies at vessel level without invoking or waiting for National or International Search & Rescue authority response.

Often marine activities take place outside of traditional National and International Search & Rescue Authority boundaries and may be inaccessible to authorities. In the event of an emergency occurring in a remote location, using Seasafe, crews are able to react instantaneously and to effect their own search and rescue. The time taken to respond to an emergency is extremely critical, particularly in cold or shark-infested waters.

How does it work?
Seasafe is a Radio Frequency transmission and receiving system operating on a specific frequency. Seasafe is independent of and does not rely on multiple orbits by appropriate satellite systems or a response from Marine Search & Rescue Authorities. Seasafe is 100% Stand-Alone and Self-Contained. The system comprises the following components:
A personal transmitter or radio beacon which is worn conveniently on the body. This transmitter may be manually activated or automatically activated when a person falls in the water.
A receiver which is connected to an antenna and may be mounted on a boat or in a land base station (such as Coast Guard).
An omni-directional antenna which is connected to the receiver and receives a distress signal from any Seasafe transmitter within 360 degrees and activates a visual and audible alarm on the receiver. This antenna is permanently mounted on the vessel or on an antenna tower at a base station.
A fold-up directional antenna. This is connected to the receiver after an alarm signal has been received. This antenna provides an indication of the direction from which a distress signal has been received. By following this direction, the victim's location will be identified.
